Small Class Size

Each class is capped at 25 students; many students form life-long personal and professional relationships. By limiting enrollment, the Whittemore School promotes a classroom where learning takes place through lectures, class discussions, and case studies. Because students remain in the workplace while enrolled, they find immediate benefit and application of their courses.

Study Groups

During the first week of classes, students are assigned to groups of three or four. Most classes include group projects, and these groups are often valuable resources as students progress through the program.

Social Network

Faculty and staff often join students for meals and social events, and each year several socials are held for students, faculty, and staff to come together informally. In addition, a special dinner and social event is held each winter for students and their spouses and significant others.
